Pre Sales Solution Architect - New York
Join Kubrick in NYC as Pre-Sales Solution Architect: translate client needs into delivery‑ready data/AI architectures, partner with sales, and drive measurable value.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Pre Sales Solution Architect to drive revenue impact through Solutions Design supporting the commercial team in Pre Sales activity with prospective clients. This role is central to our mission, and you’ll play a key part in helping to deliver market leading, outcome based solutions for our clients.
About Kubrick
Kubrick is an award-winning AI consultancy helping organizations turn AI ambition into measurable, real-world impact. We design, build and scale solutions that solve complex business challenges and deliver lasting value.
We work with leading organizations across industries including financial services, healthcare, retail, energy, aviation, and the public sector, and partner with some of the world’s leading technology providers, including Microsoft, Snowflake, Databricks, and Collibra.
What sets us apart is how we build capabilities and careers alongside the solutions we deliver. Through continuous learning, hands-on experience, and a collaborative culture, our people develop deep expertise while solving complex, real-world challenges for our clients.
What you'll be doing
The Pre‑Sales Solution Architect (PSA) is a senior, outcome‑driven role within Kubrick’s Consulting Practices, accountable for revenue impact, win‑rate improvement, solution quality, and partner‑led growth through high‑quality presales execution.
The role owns the technical shaping of deals across direct and partner‑led motions, translating client problems into delivery‑ready, commercially sound architectures across data, cloud, and AI. Success is measured not by activity alone, but by pipeline influenced, revenue booked, win‑rate uplift, cycle‑time reduction, and reusable solution assets created, in line with Kubrick’s Presales KPI framework.
The PSA works closely with sales, partners, and delivery teams to ensure that presales effort is focused on the highest‑value opportunities, produces repeatable IP, and ultimately scales Kubrick’s business.
You’ll take ownership of meaningful work from early on, contributing to projects that deliver real impact for clients. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing environment where you’re encouraged to think differently, influence outcomes, and continue developing your expertise.
What we’re looking for
Essential
Proven experience in presales solution architecture within data, cloud, or AI consulting.
Strong commercial awareness: understands how solution design affects win‑rate, margin, and delivery risk.
Deep architectural capability across hyperscalers, modern data platforms, and AI use cases.
Excellent communicator, able to influence Sales, Partners, Delivery, and C‑suite clients.
Comfortable being measured on commercial outcomes, not just activity.
Desirable
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and partner co‑sell motions.
Exposure to GenAI or agentic system architectures.
Track record of creating reusable presales IP or solution assets.
We don’t expect you to tick every box. If you’re excited about the role and believe you have the potential to succeed, we’d still love to hear from you.
