Associate Director, Data and AI Product Management
Alyse started her career in business strategy at a global asset management firm, where she synthesised internal and external data to support senior decision making. Recognising that the right technical tools could unlock far more insight for far less effort, she upskilled and made the move into data science, learning to code and building expertise in statistics and machine learning, and has kept studying since through postgraduate-level modules alongside the job.
If one word defines that career change, it is empowerment. Coding and statistics gave her the means to experiment, follow a hunch, and solve problems creatively rather than waiting for someone else to run the analysis, and the confidence that came with it reached far beyond the technical work. She describes the decision to upskill as the best investment she has made and the best decision of her career.
As an Associate Director at Kubrick, Alyse now leads work helping clients build the foundations for AI and identify the use cases where it delivers real impact. That experience is why she mentors women making the same move, and why she is candid that the barrier is usually confidence rather than aptitude.
