Female spotlight - Julia Pattie

  • Julia's drawn to the technical side of the work: solving problems and keeping up with new technology, which is part of what makes this such an interesting time to be in the industry with everything happening in AI.

    Julia Pattie

Associate Director, Data and Platform Engineering

Julia taught herself to code years before it had anything to do with her job, just out of curiosity about how things worked.

She started her career in Finance before moving into the Data industry, where she went from leading small teams to running large-scale transformation programmes, picking up hands-on experience across data engineering, platform engineering and software along the way.

Julia's drawn to the technical side of the work: solving problems and keeping up with new technology, which is part of what makes this such an interesting time to be in the industry with everything happening in AI.

Julia also makes a point of supporting other women, particularly more junior women who want to build careers on the technical side. She's found it a rewarding path, and enjoys helping other see that it can be too.
