Monika’s career in technology began somewhat unexpectedly. After studying Mathematics and Economics, she started out with an internship in project administration, where she was handed a 90-page guide and asked to expand a payroll system. What initially felt like an unusual challenge quickly sparked a passion for solving problems and building solutions, leading her to pursue a career in technology. Now an Associate Director, she has worked across insurance, banking, travel and music, leading teams, building trusted client relationships and delivering meaningful results.

Monika enjoys the opportunity to solve problems, bring ideas to life and see the difference her work can make to businesses. Having moved into leadership early in her career, she found a real passion for enabling others and creating an environment where people can do their best work.

For Monika, being a woman in data means helping to build a diverse workforce where different perspectives lead to better ideas, richer discussions and stronger outcomes, while encouraging more women to see data and technology as industries where they can build successful and fulfilling careers.
