Simone's path into data hasn't been a straight line. With a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a Master's degree in Applied Economics, she spent years circling data before fully stepping into it: through adopting a MarTech solution to help Digital Marketers evaluate and optimise their strategies, and testing stock-level-driven ad bidding back before Performance Max did it all.

Along the way, one thing became clear: without high-quality data, even the best downstream analysis and actions fall flat. That realisation led to shift into a Data Engineering role, where she could work closer to the foundation.
